X-ray, MRI, CT and more

To help your doctor effectively diagnose and treat your medical condition, Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital's Diagnostic Imaging Department offers a full range of medical imaging services.
Gone are the days when doctors relied primarily on X-rays. Of course, the X-ray is still a key diagnostic tool but it is now used with CT (computerized tomography) scans, ultrasound readings, nuclear medicine and MRI (magnetic resonance imaging). Often these technologies can be used in combination for a better diagnosis.
Diagnostic Imaging is a large department staffed by a dedicated and professional team of 80 full- and part-time employees and board-certified radiologists who process approximately 80,000 medical images per year.
The department's work is supported through the hospital's commitment to technology, state-of-the art equipment and a caring staff that strives to provide personal, one-on-one attention.
