Specialized Nursing Services
The agency provides specialized nursing services such as home IV care, pain management and chemotherapy by Oncology-certified nurses and Enterostomal Therapy care (ET). The ET nurses provide personalized attention, instruction and counseling for persons who have, or may have, a stoma as a result of surgery. They also evaluate, recommend and/or provide care to patients with incontinence or complex wound and skin care problems, as well as those needing specialized beds for comfort and healing measures.
Continuous home care from registered RNs, LVNs, nursing assistants and homemaker services is provided by Home Care's Supplemental Services Department on a 3-hour to 24-hour basis.
